Their main offering revolves around the use of Diomat™ technology, a fast-drying, non-toxic material made from diatomaceous earth. This material is integrated into products like bath mats, dish pads, and drying racks to help prevent mold and mildew, keeping homes cleaner and healthier. Dorai Home’s mission is to offer stylish, practical, and eco-conscious alternatives to traditional home goods, contributing to a more sustainable lifestyle.

Challenges & Goals

The website was not fully optimized for search, lacking SEO-rich content across collection, product, and blog pages, which hindered their SERP visibility. A key issue they faced was the presence of numerous duplicate pages with identical content, as multiple product variations often shared the same copy. This resulted in keyword cannibalization and caused Google to flag the site for duplicate content, further impacting their search rankings. To address this, the site needed to differentiate product descriptions and streamline content to improve SEO performance and avoid penalties.

Strategy

To tackle the duplicate content issues, we developed a strategy to consolidate duplicate pages and implemented rel=canonical tags to guide Google in prioritizing the main pages for ranking. We also set up 301 redirects from unnecessary pages to these priority pages, helping to focus rankings and enhance the visibility of the key pages.

We optimized collection pages by adding targeted SEO copy to increase their visibility. Product pages were enhanced with high-volume, converting keywords and included FAQs and schema markup (PDP and FAQ) to improve the chances of achieving rich results and boost click-through rates.

Additionally, we revamped blog articles with high SEO potential by expanding the content and optimizing it for better rankings. New content was also added to the blog to broaden keyword coverage and drive more traffic.
